No more Scorpios

OK so I've known this for awhile but every scorpio I date turns out to be a major drama king... No more. It seems like all of my long term relationships are with Scorpios and they all turn out very ugly. Anyone else have this issue?

I'm really in need of venting. If I can blame it on the Scorpio thing it might make it easier for me to move through this breakup easier.

Anyone care to assist?

Hello beautiful fellow ones, (and you know you are *snicker*)

I am taking a poll to see what your most compatible sign has been. Clearly other Air signs win hands down, but I have done well with Taurus. When it comes to the bedroom, there is no beating the chemistry between Libra+Libra, Libra + Leo, Libra + Aquarius, and Libra + Aries (sometimes.) What do you think? Have you experienced some of the same? This chemistry sometimes works behind in the sheets (satin sheets, or course ;-), but then when exploring relationships, things can change dramatically.

Hi,

I was reading through this site and I see myself in all of this…I’ve met a libra guy and so far its been going ok I guess…We met online and I made the first move to see him and when we finally did, he couldnt stop staring at me, telling me how amazing I looked and how exotic I was…I stayed charming and we got along so good !!!so our date lasted 8 hours and he said that we definetly have to see each other again…so we did…it was great !

now that we are getting closer I feel him more distant, I dont want to pressure him into anythng so I just let things be…we saw each other after that two weeks prior to our second date, we went for a picnic and I kissed him….its like he was practically swallowing me….but he wasnt flirty, just really enjoying me and he was putting his hand on my hips when we were in the car…after when he dropped me off we kissed again….he usually calls or emails me back after our dates but this time he didn’t..I sent him a Youtube song and he hasn’t responded…He’s always been very respectful, yet i still don’t really feel that he wants to make time for me…

Now my question is : is he thinking it over…is he interested ?? how do you know when a libra guy is really into you ? and that he wants to be with you is he more indecisive cause he wants you or simply because he doesnt know how to tel you that you’re not the girl …

I’m curious and we’ve told each other that there’s great chemistry and we laugh like crazy and have amazing debates ! our conversations lasts forever…

Hi guys i recently joined the tribe on my quest for some answers..i was wondering if anyone can help...
I am a cancer sun, pisces moon..not sure abt birth time so my asc is either libra/scorp. i met this guy who's
libra sun/gemini moon/not sure about his asc, but he has a lot of scorp in him...venus, jupiter and neptune.

I really like him but find him aloof, when I pull back he comes to me..he doesnt talk much, or show much affection.

Whats going on here? I feel like aries people think their word is written in stone and blessed at that moses-mountain. This may not sit well with some people but hey. Is there anyone out there who finds Aries overly loudmouth, sooo so fkin funny, aggressive and stubborn?

It's craz what lenght they go to win an argument! In my oppinion, you cant discuss with them. Theyre too set in their childish oppinions. As onesided as a photo.

Pluss about them being the confident superheros of the zodiac. What a bunch of bull! They run their mouth and get beat up cause they think they can take the 300 pound lineman. Just because you act like a badass doesnt make you one.

How to approach a libra?

Ok, so I hate to ask questions like this but i can't help it. There is this Libra girl I go to school with who I am very attracted to. I have yet to talk to her but everytime we pass eachother around campus there is a moment of eye contact that couldnt be mistaken for anything but interest. The kind of strange thing about this is that I've even seen her around town but we never talk. Its like a quick moment of recognition and than look away and pretend we didnt notice eachother. I feel like im in grade school all over again. So my question: How does one approach a Libra in an effective manor. I dont know if this makes a difference but Im Leo sun Aries rising and Sagittarius moon. Any insight is appreciated.

So OK,
We are all budding astrologers, here. We all know that "Sun signs are just the tip of the iceberg" when it comes to personality, and/or trying to figure out a person's "sign." There are all sorts of technicalities to look out for: Sun sign in one sign (and it's particular ruling element), but a cluster of planets in a different sign (and/or element), the person's moon sign and/or rising sign in a different sign, the person's upbringing, genetics, yadda-yadda-yadda. You get the point.

Yet, with all of this, us budding astrologers *still* have our moments where we can meet someone (without spending a significant amount of time with them), and pinpoint *exactly* what their Sun sign match is. That's one of the fun little perks of getting into astrology; guessing someone's Sun sign.

However, I've noticed a little bit of a pattern (at least in *my* experience); out of the many times I've put myself to the test of trying to determine someone's *sign*; Libras were--hands down--the *hardest* for me to pinpoint. I've accurately pinpointed many Virgos, Scorpios, Capricorns (and many others, too), but Libras don't always come out the way you expect them to. It's usually not until after I've spent a significant amount of time with the person, and/or after the person flat out tells me their birthdate, that I find out they are Libra. I've also noticed this pattern (but in much less terms) in some Gemini's, some Pisces, Aquarius (and a few Scorpios). I find when I come across many Libras, it's hard to tell which "sign" they seem the most like; almost like I have a hard time choosing between 3 or 4 (sometimes more) signs. Sometimes, they flat out don't seem like *any* of the signs. Again, I've found that many times when I play this "guessing" game, and after some time, I still can't quite come to a firm choice, more often than, not, they turn out to be Libras (and lesser times, the other 4 signs I mentioned turn out to be the case). I think I have an idea why this may be:

For Libras, it could be because quite a few of them have a highly vacillating nature (inwardly, not necessarily on outward terms), while some cleverly know how to camouflage their thoughts/feelings/motives/personality (whether it's behind a cool-calm-collected poise, or behind an air of chic, or at the total other end of the spectrum - and trust me, it's there - behind an air of toughness, sometimes outright aggression.) Libras are all over the freakin' place--there are *so* many kinds of them (yeah, I know, that can be said of any sign, but I see it here, more than anywhere else).

For Gemini's, it's probably for the obvious--they are supposed to be dualistic, so they seemingly change on the drop of a hat.

For Aquarius, well, they're supposed to be weird as hell, and unpredictable, and at times, it shows.

For Pisces I think because they are the last sign of the zodiac, so they are supposed to have a little bit of all the signs that came before it (and likewise, they are said to standout from the other signs, alongside that.)

And for the even fewer Scorpios where I encountered this kind of situation, it may be due to the fact that Scorpios *are* supposed to be the most...mysterious... and...hidden...

There should be some interesting responses to this topic. Nothing necessarily worth taking *too* seriously, it was just a fun little experiment that I thought I'd share with the other members on this tribe.

Curious Scorpio

I'm a Scorpio sun/moon Taurus rising.
Its a rather long story but I've recently become friends with a Libra man. His moon is in Pisces Sag rising. We both have Venus in Scorpio and Mars in Cap.
Long story short I'd he and I have a mutual friend. He saw me out but I'm really not very talkative and we didn't speak but he asked our friend for my number. I started getting texts from him like crazy! I didn't even know who he was since we were never formally introduced. He text me for a couple months before I finally warmed up to him and we started hanging out. Once I got to know him I saw how charming he was. He brings me out of my shell and makes me smile (which is rare).
We finally hit it off and became intimate. Amazing chemisty!!!
Now... he has backed off alot. He's gone on the weekends for his job and when he's back he still wants to see me but my scorpy intuition can just see him getting more and more distant. He told a friend that he liked me and he'd "marry me in a heartbeat" but to my face nothing! To be fair since he backed off it hurt me and I became a little sarcastic and cold to him on the phone but when we are together he acts as though nothing is wrong. And his smile! Grrr... makes me weak and Scorpions have no room for weakness.
I just would like a little insight from you Libras. If he isn't serious then I'm moving on. It's not for me to just "play" or to be messed around with. I have too much pride (and a little fear of being hurt) to ask him how he feels but if I have to... then I'll do it.

Rising Aquarius

Ok I'm a newb.. what does this mean exactly? I went on this website and it asked for my name, birth date, birth place, etc.. And it gave me 3 things:
Sun = Libra
Moon= Aries
Rising= Aquarius

Can anyone shed some light...

O yea, went to another site and it asked for lover compatibility and asked for dates..so just for the hell of it I put in my b date and his b date the same..and the reading was off the charts ..why?? Like is my soul mate supposed to have the same birthday?
The I got to thinking about how strange that would be and the probability of that actually happening. Thanks for ur insight =D

Sag Female & Male Libra - Help Please!

I'm so confused right now! I met this Libra man over a week ago my friend told me he was single so I never asked him and he acted like he was single. The same night I met him well, I stayed the night. That is not normal for me even though people say Sags do that. We didn't have sex just kissed, danced, he sang to me and I slept with him holding me. The next day I left early because I had to work and he was still sleeping. He texted me later that night to ask how I was doing since we were up really late and I had to work so early. I told him it was going to be an early night but I was ok. We hit it off with such a connection and chemistry that I don't remember the last time I felt that. Well, I text him the following night to see when he might want to meet up again and he didn't know because he had some things to figure out first. I asked him if he had a girlfriend and he said no but he has been hanging out with a girl but it was soon to end. I was like ok well, we could just be platonic then. Well, he didn't respond for a couple of days. Then he text's me to see what I was doing and I told him I was in for the night watching a movie. He said he was home too. I asked him if we are going to talk on the phone or hang out soon and he said give me a couple of days to figure out my situation. I asked him what situation. He said the one with the girl because he really liked me and was pulling my chain and wants me around but he doens't want to be just platonic and he would like to see where it goes. I asked if we can talk on the phone and he told me he wil call before the weekend is over. Well, I never got that call. So, now what do I do? Do I just stay away? He made it sound at first like him and this girl was casual then it sounded like it was more than casual. Not sure what to think but he is making sure he stays away from me now except by keeping in touch every couple of days. I am just doing my own thing in the meantime but crap, I haven't had anyone make me feel like he did in such a long time. What do you think?

An interersting thing I found out about the libra glyph..it represents the sun over the horizon during the fall equinox.

Libra is the 7th sign, ruling over the house of relationships. It represents equlibrium and balance, justice, and communications through the air.

Been thinking about being a libra and what it means to me...what justice really means...and harmony.

CEBU, Philippines (Reuters) - More than 800 people were missing on Monday after a Philippine ferry capsized in a typhoon that has killed scores and left a trail of destruction across the archipelago.
Sulpicio Lines, the owner of the MV Princess of Stars, revised up the number of people missing to 845 after discovering an extra 100 passengers on the ship's manifest. Only four people are so far known to have survived the ferry disaster and they said many did not make it off the ship in time.
Crowded life-rafts sank in cold, storm-tossed seas.
"Many of us jumped, the waves were so huge, and the rains were heavy," a survivor identified only as Jesse told local radio.
"There was just one announcement over the megaphone, about 30 minutes before the ship tilted to its side." "Immediately after I jumped, the ship tilted, the older people were left on the ship."
Four people have been confirmed dead. Children's slippers and life jackets have washed ashore.
There were 724 passengers and 121 crew on board, including at least 20 children and 33 infants.
In the central city of Cebu, where Princess of Stars was meant to dock, dozens of relatives maintained a vigil at a small passenger terminal, waiting for news.
"The last time I heard from my son was on Friday evening when the ship left Manila. He texted to say he was coming home," said Celecia Tudtud, a mother of four.
"I really hope he's ok," she said, wiping away tears.
A spokesman for President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, who flew to the United States on Saturday night, said she would not cut short her eight-day state visit, which includes meeting U.S. President George W. Bush in the White House on Tuesday.
HUGE SWELLS
A coastguard vessel was trawling the waters around the 23,824 gross tonne ferry, which is upside down with only its bow above the waves, trying to confirm reports some passengers had made it to a small island.
"We are hoping more people will have reached the shoreline," Vice Admiral Wilfredo Tamayo, the head of the coastguard, told Reuters.
Princess of Stars ran aground on Saturday but the coastguard was unable to reach it because of huge swells and bad weather caused by Typhoon Fengshen, which crashed into the central Philippines on Friday.
At least two other coastguard vessels were en route to help in rescue efforts and Tamayo said he hoped divers would be able to scour the submerged ship later on Monday.
He said there was no sign fuel was leaking from the ferry but said an oil-spill response team would arrive with one of the two coastguard ships before dawn on Monday.
Princess of Stars sank 3 km (2 miles) from Sibuyan island in the centre of the archipelago.
"WORST DISASTER"
Typhoon Fengshen, with maximum gusts of 195 kph (121 mph), has killed at least 155 people in central and southern Philippines, with the western Visayas region, famed for its sandy beaches and sugar plantations, the worst affected.
In Iloilo province, 101 people were reported dead after flood waters over two meters high engulfed communities, forcing tens of thousands to scramble onto the roofs of their homes.
"Iloilo is like an ocean. This is the worst disaster we have had in our history," Governor Neil Tupaz told local radio.
In neighboring Capiz, more than 2,000 houses were destroyed in the provincial capital and officials were struggling to make contact with communities further afield.
"We got hit real bad this time," said Richard Gordon, the chairman of the Philippines' Red Cross.
After battering Manila on Sunday, Fengshen spun out into the South China Sea on Monday. The storm was en route to Taiwan, where it could make landfall in the next few days, according to storm tracker website www.tropicalstormrisk.com.
More than 30,000 people were being housed in evacuation centers in the centre and south of the archipelago.
An archipelago of more than 7,000 islands, the Philippines is hit by an average of 20 typhoons a year.

married cancer woman and libra man...in strange situation for past 6 years

I am not too much into astrology but this strange relationship forced me to look for the reason for why I am feeling so strong for him...the libra man. I know him for past 6 years. We both were married when we met. It was cosmic for me. When I first met him, I could feel the energy waves coming from his body and engulfing me..I met him for a business meeting. He was not in very good shape then, maybe he felt awkward that time meeting me like this...actually he came from a very long international journey and didn't had time to shave.
Next day we were supposed to meet for a business presentation by him. When I came at the venue, I saw a very handsome, clean shaven man in business attire...it impressed me and I could not believe he was the one I met yesterday.
I felt that he is very very different and something is going on between us on a different plane. That very day, he made an offer to join his company..he is the CEO of that company. We negotiated for terms and salary for about 2 weeks and after I joined, he told me, I am a tough nut to crack on negotiations.

After I joined, he suddenly increased my responsibilities so that I can have a work profile that makes me work with him. btw, he was placed in the head office of a different country and visited the office 2-3 days/month. He paid special attention to me from beginning, so much so that all my co-workers started to get it. He would reply to my mail within seonds as if he was waiting for them while he will take many hours to day to respond to other cowaorkers and he was not afraid to show his affections in front of his wife which made her very insecure.

Something made her join the company so that she can be aware of what's happening between us...I left the job because I didn't like the situation where someone is watching over my head all the time. and above all, I learnt later on that his wife is from a rich family and lot of her money was pumped into business. She joined and asked to me my manager, which she did...I thought some ass**** is sitting on my head who didn't know the abc of the business...I left the job because I was knowing this will turn very dirty soon...so I left before anything turbulant happened. He was very angry on me leaving the company as he told me he needed my energy to run the business but I couldn't take breath in that environment where his wife is always checking on me and him.

After I resigned, he very openly admitted that he has feelings for me and on one occasion we both were alone in the office and he kissed me passionately...I was never been kissed like that before...out of world..it was some chemistry!! since then I am not living in this world.

We both parted our ways to take care of the situation and tried to concentrate on the family. I even went away from my home and husband for an year taking job in other city as I felt I am not being honest with my husband. I told him I do not feel for him and I need to figure out myself and I need time.

I prayed and meditated to let go of him from my mind but he was and he is still with me. I returned to my husband after an year to make my marriage work. All this while, I was never in contact with my libran.

He kept sending mails but I didn't reply. After 2 years, he sent me a mail saying he needed some business help and we met in TGIF. It was charged atmosphere and he told me I lost the spark for life.

After that we exchanged very formal mails for business work but I COULD MAKE OUT THE FEELINGS with each exchange. It is 6 years now and we are still in the same situation. we both do not say anything but we know what's going on..we never had the final sex but we kissed, had oral many times...sometimes its very frustrating because I want to make love to him abandoning all the morality and what will happen...

He always comes for coffee when he has to discuss very important affairs and he takes my advice. He can't keep his hands off me. what is going on???...can someone tell me...we both are married and I feel I am half dead experiencing all this...it is a different state for me...6 years...and please do not tell me to get away from him...I didn't talk to him for 2 years yet he was with me with each breath...every morning, he is the first I remember..he is always with me..

advice from other Libras

I am having a really hard time lately dealing with people who are selfish and full of their ego. My Libraness tells me that everyone should be treated equally and with respect, and I think it is so silly for me to let this bother me so much. I am usually not so judgemental, and I am usually so accepting of all of our differences. I need advice on not getting so fired up (my rising in Sag.) when there is not a balance of respect and light around me.

gemini conundrum

it is SAID that we libras are suppose to connect so wonderfully with Geminis well I don't at all. In fact, Geminis are the sign that have caused me the most stress and sadness in my life...whether dating them or in friendship. I find them to be extremely moody, fluctuating between low self esteem and delusions of granduer. They do not see this however, as they have no ability to self-analyze (only criticize others). They are the sign most likely to NOT be happy for my successes but instead be judgemental and irritatingly sarcastic. I am really curious what libras LIKE this unappealing sign....

Well I met this libra male over a month ago, at first he wasn`t that interesting to me but as the first night went on, I felt this instant attraction to him, he made me laugh and was so charming(which most libras are) Well as the month went on we emailed each other all the time hungout all the time and we finally went to a movie together, he paied for EVERYTHING, including transportation. Anyway the day was perfect and the next day invited me for drinks with some girl, now my libra interest, David, told me he kissed this girl but it didn`t mean anything to him, so I didn`t say anything I really didn`t care, but the next time we went out he told me he had sex with her...I was a bit depressed but he said he wasn`t going to talk to her again. Anyway we went to a club that night and after I taught him the basics of dancing he got some confidence and made some moves of his own, nothing to shady, nothing happened..Anyway sometime after that we went out again and I put my hand through his arm asking him it is ok(I should mention he`s Asian korean/chinese) but he was cool with it in fact I felt him pull me close to him...Well let me get to the point of this he was having some finnancial problems and I lent him some dough, he needed it and first and formost as a friend I can`t see him struggle like that...I just want to know from the libra males of the group do you think my chances are shot, oh BTW I am a cusp sign Gemini/Cancer.

Libra and Sagittarius?

I met this young woman awhile back and we became really good friends. She was a Sagittarius and by the time she moved away I was doing all I could not to ravish her. I really had a hard time staying away since I am married and love my wife deeply. I am kind of relieved she moved away, but the fire still burns. You know when fighting a fire that you never want to expose the flames to oxygen, for when you do, the fire will almost explode. Thats the way I felt when we were in the same room. I was born Oct 10 and she blessed this world on Dec 18.

From my experience, Libra's and Gemini's DO NOT work together. Gemini's are a little too into themselves, they are as stubborn as night is dark and they tend to lack the romantic essence that Libra's love. Don't get me wrong they have their way of making you love them, but it is a constant battle when these two signs cross paths. In my own experience, I went out with someone who was a Gemini for almost two years. However, it did not end there. For two years after the fact and probably again some time in the future we spoke/will still speak. This is very dangerous with a Gemini because they can give a Libra the feeling that they do not care about them-no matter how much or how often they say they do. They also tend to have a jealous-need-to-know-everything quality-this is where the caution sign should go up. Ladies if you find yourself in this situation...RUN FOR THE HILLS! lol...Save yourself the pain and time because a Gemini does not change for anybody-even if they know they should, the moment someone else brings it up they become stubborn and decide that everyone else has the problem not them....

my girlfriend is an Aquarius and by far the greatest relationship ever! she is very logical and i tend to be somewhat of a dreamer or lose track of reality and have high hopes then fall apart... but she keeps me on track, totally. very ying-yang for me! we never fought over anything, just having disagreements, and we've only had 4 disagreements out of 3 years being together. i think thats pretty damn good!

not to mention she is the year of the Dog, and i'm the Horse so we totally compiment each other to the fullest.

by far the most stable relationship i'll ever have.

I am new to the Libra Tribe although I am a Pisces.

Upon reading the 1st blog for "libra/pisces", and the comments, I decided to ask for opinions as well as advice for my own libra/pisces relationship. I've been seeing a Libra man for 2 years, we broke up twice and now we're seeing each other "casually" lol. Throughout our time together, we have had arguments which to me have proven what we truly value. I value my relationship with him an dhe values peace at any cost LOL Nevertheless the love we have for one another has kept us going. The downside is he does not want to be in a committed relationship with me right now because he feels he lost a lot of time slacking off. He slacked off before he met me and was inspired by my early success working in the fashion industry immideately after graduating from college. He basically does not want the responsibility of a relationship while he's dealing with himself. "I want to make myself happy in order to make YOU happy." Typical balancing act. We are both very young (23 & 25) and have a lot to grow, but I wish we could do it together, not individually. My problem is that in this casual relationship, I feel "ignored". And whenever I felt that way, I'd go nuts (mars in Scorpio yikes!) and I'd harass him w/ questions which of course pissed him off. I kept feeling like I was sitting at a bus station waiting for a bus that was never coming. He kept telling me that it wasn't intentional, just lots of stuff on his mind. He would tell me I was acting needy and clingy (I was NEVER like this w/ him in the relationship) So I would calm down and just let him be. He is VERY social (moon in 7th house) and I think it has a lot to do w/ the fact that he's an only child, not just the aspect of Librans being the social butterflies of the zodiac. I get along great with his friends and they call me by far his best match. However, it gets on my nerves because he reserves time for his friends over me (even when we were in a relationship) and I'd be left waiting around till HE decides he can see me. I ADORE and respect him, but I think he doesn't value me as much as I value him. It's confusing b/c he tells me one of the reasons he's scared to be in a relationship with me, is b/c he'll give himself to me completely. That's not what I want. Ironically the two fishes want balanced scales LOL i have no idea where we are going, if I should stop everything and just leave what we have or stay and support him through a rough time (for the both of us). I consider myself to be the stronger one when it comes to loyalty, but he is stronger emotionally. There's alot of opposites attract energy about us that most of the time works with the right attention. Anyway guys I think the best way for you to formulate your advice is by seeing the following comparisons:

Me: Rising Sag, Sun in Pisces, Moon in Gemini, Venus in Aquarius, Mars in Scorpio (Double Yikes! LOL), Mercury in Pisces

Him: Rising Leo, Sun in Libra, Moon in Gemini, Venus in Libra, Mars In Sag, Mercury in Libra

I think the issues lie in our Mercuries..

Right now I'm needing some help. I'm graduating highschool this year and I have no idea what to do for a career. I really love to write (though not journalism type, I really enjoy creating stories), and my favorite thing in the world is acting. No matter what I do career-wise I'm going to write on the side (though I'll probably never submit my work to publishing companies) but acting I'm not sure about... I would find it completely fufilling as a career but it would be so crushing if I attempted to and got completely shut down. I'm just wondering if there is anything in my chart that would show something I would be good at. Sorry if this is too aggressive for a first post :S. Thanks to anyone who submits something :).

Also I was wondering about my 7th house. I'm not completely sure what the 7th house is and I have most of my important planets in that one. I know that is kind of like partners and stuff like that, but is there anything else its about? Because either it is or I'm going to be married to a person with multiple personality disorder :S.

Do Libras tend toward some kinds of sports more than others? I'm wondering if we could all respond and see if there are leanings towards some types of activities or sports more than others among Libras.

Do you like to watch team sports like baseball, basketball and football? Or do you prefer playing in a team rather than watching one on TV?

Do you like team activities, or do you prefer more independent workouts or activities? Are you competitive when playing or learning a sport?

Do you consider yourself athletic, physically active, or less active, more of an observer?

It would be great if you'd all respond. Maybe Libras don't share common sports or activities, but let's try and find out!

The Winds Of Change
While fire has more to do with purification, cleansing and transformation, wind has more to do with sweeping in the new, opening to receive, carrying away the old, and energizing with power. The winds are related to the four cardinal directions from which they come and go, the East, South, West, and North. The winds of the East carry with them fresh new ideas, light, illumination and inspiration for creative progress. The winds of the South open the heart for love and communication to flow, bringing everything to full bloom. The winds of the West help to release holding patterns and sweep away what is old or no longer needed. The winds of the North energize and infuse everything with power and courage.

Like all the elements the winds have their shadow sides, their negative poles that bring difficulties, challenges and obstacles. Strong winds of the East can bring chaos and wild scattering while intense Southern winds can bring either too much or too little moisture resulting in withered crops and enervation. The powerful winds of the West can destroy all in its path while the winds of the North can freeze and howl with malevolence.

The winds are not completely separate from human activities but are intimately influenced by human beings and their endeavors. For example, the wind may sigh through the trees in an area where people are grieving the loss of loved ones due to war, famine or illness. The wind itself is a chief spirit that has different personalities or faces that we have already discussed. The North wind is a face of the spirit of wind in general as is the West wind or East winds.

During these times and times to come you will notice that the spirit of wind is more influential and much more noticeable than usual. i was just reading about y'all in the astrology tribe and it confirmed my little experience with libra.

you know, the more i learn about libra, the more i feel a kinship, like you are not at all unlike pisces, "except" you are cardinal air and we are mutable water....

people call us "weak", say we have a hard time making decisions, take too long to leave people, have a strong sense of justice, or of wanting to be fair to all... we have a lot of similarities like this.

i wonder if that is complementary or if when partnered in some kind of way we would just drag eachother down.

personally i have a really good feeling about libra, but i am aquairus rising (air), and have very strong aries in my chart. also my moon is taurus.

My 18th century life changing moment (or me -libra- and my sag took the next step)

So Gabi and I went to Fort Loudon State park this weekend. For those who dont know about the place heres a readers digest version o fthe places history....Fort Loudon on wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort...nnessee%29

Now back to the story...

Ok so gabi and I went to fort Loudon this past saturday to not only explore the fort and do a little hiking but also to experience life back in the 1700's by attending the 18th century traders faire at the fort. First we stopped by the museum and educated ourselves about the fort and its awsome history. After the documentry in the museum finnished we heard gunshots over and over again. It was time to head out to the actual fort. Somthing was going down!!!

When we arrived at the forts entrance we see a troop of french soldiers trying to gain access to the fort adn in opposition we saw the forts birtish troops fighting back. I am used to seeing enraged battles. This was different than what we think of battles today because they each basically would march a few steps forward spend a few minutes loading their muskets, firing and getting shot in the process. It was more dignified in a way and more crazy too! bodies were laying everywhere when the british finally caused the french to retreat.

Once that was over we walked around the fort Inside there were encampments adn indians and traders and juggalers and OMG just about anything youd expect! We visited teh infirmary adn some living quaters etc. The crafts were amazing and so were teh entertainers. I loved the peasant boys playing violins and irish drums! NEATO!

The day was about to change and so was my life. I saw a tent with a lady reading tea leaves so I got gabi's attention and she loved her dress and took a picture of her. Then we decided to have our readings done. The lady said she had never read a couples before but she would try. Let me tell you the stuff she said really hit home to us. It was all possitive and was more like guidence with our relationship.

We walked around a little more and stopped uphill to see a 18th century style juggling act. It was amazing. Fire being tossed around and all kinds of laughs. We head to the exit and could here the cannons being fired in teh background when a lady comes out of a encampment tent and starts playing a wonderful song on the violin. I grabbed gabi and held her tight. I told her I loved her and reminded her of how perfect we are for each other and held in front of her a ring and then I asked her to marry me. She said yes and we were both over joyed.

It was a perfect day and a perfect place for me to ask the perfect person for me for her hand in marriage. It was a perfect weekend and thats how my life was changed by the 18th century.

Fear of Relationships

I am sitting at work today, questioning my fear of relationships. I have recently met a man that I can see spending time with. However, I am afraid that a newfound habit of mine is going to creep in between us. In recent relationships, which have all been short term, I find that I over-analyze and get frustrated by anything I don't find to be perfect about the person I am with. I have a hard time lettting go of that and find it difficult to focus on the positive aspects of the relationship and therefore end it.

I can look at it in two ways, and say that I trusted my first instinct and that it just wasn't a good match. However, there are times I feel I could give the person more of a chance and not be so critical. I have had some negative experiences with men over the past few years, which could be contributing to this. My age could be another factor, in that I am 30, have had a lot of experience dating, and know exactly what I am looking for.

On the other hand, I am spending time with this man, and am starting to convince myself that something must be wrong with him. In my opinion it is quite unhealthy.

Any Libras have similar experiences?

It got kind of quiet in here...didn't it?

I know I've been very introspective lately. And even though I feel like I want to be out and socializing, I feel compelled to stay close to home and nest. I'm in a very analytical head space. I just saw the Dalai Lama for two days of intensive Tibetan teachings...last weekend. That really effected me.

Sort of moody...and I'm usually pretty even.

How about you?

Anyone else trying to solve world problems lately? or trying to figure out a little piece of it?

Question time about passive aggressive behaviour for you Libran folk

Now I know all about how some of you loathe confrontation of any sort, but I also have a small handful of Libra friends who are either Scorpio Ascendants, Scorpio Moons, or have their Mars in a fire sign like Leo who just don't seem to have this problem. I have been trying to put my finger on a passive aggressive trend and I don't think it's really so much a Libra Sun issue as it is a Mars in Virgo issue, since I know a few other signs, Cancer being one of them, with this placement and the results are the same. So on the lines of aggression, my first thoughts would be Mars, just wondering if there are any opinions about this out there, and if you would be willing to just say if you are prone to passive aggressive behaviour, and if you are, where is your mars located? Sign and house please, and anything aspecting it.
I'll offer up my info even though I don't have a passive aggressive streak, nor am I a Libra because it seems only fair lol and I know how much you all like fairness!

Mars-Aries, 8th house, conjunct 8th house arian Venus, conjunct 9th house Taurean Mercury, Squaring 11th house Jupiter in Leo, Trining a 1st house Virgo Saturn, Trining a 4th house Saggitarius Neptune, Trining a 12th house black moon lilith in Leo, Trining my Virgo Ascendant. Two more minor aspects are a Sesquiquadrate to my Saggitarian Moon in the 4th, and a Semisextile to my midheaven.
Thanks in advance to those willing to participate, I left out asteroids because my knowledge is limmited in their areas, well, most of them anyway.

Is a Libra female born on September 24th considered a "Cusp'er"? I have seen the dates for the sun signs differe from site to site. I am thinking she is born on the second day of Libra making her (if I shall put it into numbers) 85% Libra 15% virgo (when we talk, I only experience the Libra side of her, I am a Gemini). However, by some sites, she is 3 days into Libra and already out of the Cusp.

Rising Sign is in 15 Degrees Scorpio
Sun is in 09 Degrees Libra.
Moon is in 22 Degrees Aries.
Mercury is in 04 Degrees Scorpio.
Venus is in 00 Degrees Libra.
Mars is in 12 Degrees Libra.
Jupiter is in 09 Degrees Pisces.
Saturn is in 18 Degrees Cancer.
Uranus is in 26 Degrees Libra.
Neptune is in 07 Degrees Sagittarius.
Pluto is in 06 Degrees Libra.
N. Node is in 12 Degrees Sagittarius.

I personally dont like having aries anywhere in there because we NEVER get along, they are mean to me!!! anyways I am happy I got alot of libra. Does anyone have any ideas or interpretaions for any of it? I am new to all this and dont fully understand it if at all really. lol
